More than one business?
Each business with its own legal name and books is its own account, with its own customers, team, books and subscription. Today, each business you sign up needs its own email address: one email is one login, and signing up again with an email that already has a login doesn't set up another business.
For now, you sign in to each of your businesses with its own email; one login can't move between businesses you own.
One business that does more than one kind of work? Sign it up once, so its invoices, sales taxes and books stay together. An account is set up for one trade, chosen on this page; "Bookkeeping only, or another trade" covers invoices, payments, expenses and books for any kind of work.
If your login works in more than one account (for example, you accepted a landlord's invitation to be their contractor), you move between them with "Working in" in the menu, under your name.
